An Alzheimer’s Association Support Group is a FREE, confidential gathering led by a trained professional or volunteer. People who attend are family, friends and other caregivers who have a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease, a related dementia or memory problems. Support groups provide opportunities for people to discover they are not alone, whether they feel happy, sad, angry, confused or anything in-between. They can release stress and share their struggles and solutions with others who find themselves in the same situations. Attendees can also learn more about dementia, research and help that is available in their community.
